METHODS OF ANALYSIS AND MODELING OF BUSINESS PROCESSES AND THEIR IMPLEMENTATION IN ‘ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT’ ENVIRONMENT

Abstract. The article considers the features of the competence-based approach implementation in teaching students of the training direction "Applied Informatics". It is shown that deeper assimilation of the skills necessary for the analysis of the subject area and for the formalization of the survey data is possible in the study of two complementary approaches to the analysis and modeling of business processes - Erickson-Penker diagram and BPMN notation. The features of these approaches implementation in ‘Enterprise Architect’ environment are described.
