Abstract. The article deals with the methodology of teaching the section "Projection Drawing" of the academic discipline "Engineering Graphics". The detailed study of the way of orthogonal projection allows making and reading technical drawings in all the industries in accordance with the requirements of the standards, contributes to mastering professional engineering thinking on the basis of technical literacy, and forms professional competences.
