UNIVERSAL HIGHER EDUCATION: POSSIBLE SOCIAL-ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES

Abstract. The tremendous development of info-communications and the total involvement of the mankind in the system of higher education are two most significant factors determining contemporary information society. It happened so that these driving forces of innovative development met at the historic time scale. As a result we face new reality causing the most serious consequences for the whole further development of human civilization, for the human race itself. It seems interesting from this or that degree of depth to analyze the current situation and its possible consequences.
