PROBLEMS OF VITALITY OF RUSSIA SMALL PEOPLES’ LANGUAGES (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE KOMI-PERMYAK LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article deals with the problems of the preservation and development of the languages of the small peoples of Russia by the example of the language situation in Komi-Permyak district after its becoming a part of Perm Territory. The problems of the vitality of the Komi-Permyak language raise serious concerns due to constant decrease in the number of students studying the Komi-Permyak language in the school system.
