CONCEPTION OF THE PROGRAMME "WHEELCHAIR DANCE" FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Abstract. The article considers the basic provisions of the programme "Wheelchair Dance" as a kind of dance movement therapy. This technique not only contributes to physical rehabilitation, but also has a positive effect on the development of aesthetic qualities of the disabled, corrects their mental state. The forms, methods and principles of work with the disabled are revealed, and the sections of the programme "Wheelchair Dance" are described.
