CINEMA IN PSYCHOTHERAPY AND PSYCHO-CORRECTION

Abstract. The article analyzes the features of the perception of cinema and its influence on the viewer. It is shown that the individual reaction to a film is determined primarily by the problem content of personal experience. The models of cinema therapy, based on various methodological grounds, are analyzed. The article studies the role of group discussion in cinema therapy, which allows participants in a cinema therapy group to detect distortions in the perception of a film caused by individual complexes. The effects of cinema therapy are analyzed. The possibilities of using cinema in psychotherapy and psycho-correction are considered.
