LINGUO-PRAGMATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF ABBREVIATION AND DISABBREVIATION IN THE MODERN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to one of the most productive ways of word-formation - abbreviation. In the center of attention of the scientific article are those pragmatical co-meanings and stylistic modifications which abbreviations acquire during the process of communication and in various discourse types. Attention paid to the communicative-functional aspect of abbreviation induces to consider the phenomenon specially which always existed in parallel with abbreviation but is practically not investigated in Russian philology - disabbreviation.
