SATIRE IN M. A. BULGAKOV'S NOVEL "MASTER AND MARGARITA"

Abstract. The structure and functions of satirical grotesque as the basic style method in M. A. Bulgakov's novel Master and Margarita are considered, the correlation of grotesque with Christian apocalyptical myth is revealed. The analysis of the mythological symbolics of the novel allows specifying the author's position of the writer and understanding his estimation of historical collisions.
