BRIEF REVIEW OF APPROACHES TO TRANSLATION IN ENGLAND IN THE XIXTH AND THE FIRST HALF OF THE XXTH CENTURY

Abstract. The author presents the summary of the research results of the main approaches to translation in England in the XIXth and the beginning of the XXth century, considers the categories, which translators used, determines the character of the relationships between the author of an original work, the translator and the recipient, and mentions that the presented analysis of translation essential features makes it possible to determine the originality of the translated texts dated to the XIXth and the first half of the XXth century.
