ABOUT RUSSIAN LOANWORDS IN YAKUT FISHING VOCABULARY

Abstract. The Russian loanwords in the Yakut vocabulary concerning one of the most ancient human occupations – fishing, which penetrated into the Yakut language with the appearance of the permanent Russian population of Yakutia, are considered in the article. The main sources of loanwords revelation were "The Yakut Language Dictionary" by E. K. Pekarskii and "Etymological Dictionary of the Russian Loanwords in Siberia Languages" by А. Е. Аnikin. Basing on the conducted research the author revealed 49 loanwords, among which the names of fish, fishing tackle, water travel means, maritime animals, fish food and other words relating to fishing.
