COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES FOR TOLERANT NEWSPAPER DISCOURSE OF RUSSIAN-LANGUAGE FOREIGN MEDIA

Abstract. The author considers the communication strategies for tolerant newspaper discourse by the material of the media texts of the Russian-language foreign press. Despite scientists’ increased interest to tolerance as a cultural-social phenomenon, at the moment there is no clear definition of tolerant newspaper discourse and its interpretation as the unity of structural components. The results of the research can contribute to the development of linguistic tolerance theory, and can also be used when considering the problem of tolerance in various institutional discursive practices.
