Abstract. The author considers the main types of corporeal figurativeness presented in the context of narrative tradition, devoted to the topic of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, describes six figurative rows of "belligerent body", distributed in three contrasting pairs: vital - mimicrial, subordinate - marginal, ritual - grotesque, and interprets the general direction of corporeal figurativeness development within the framework of this tradition as the transition from monofocal strategies, creating the heroic-ritualized image of the perfect warrior, to multifocal scenarios, developing not only pathetic, but also ironic, polemical, parody and comic methods of corporeal figurativeness.
