MYSTERY ORIGINALITY AS FOLK DISCOURSE GENRE

Abstract. The author reveals the specificity of implementing mystery texts as folk discourse genre, existing in traditional and modern culture, describes the analyzed genre with account of social-cultural, communicative, cognitive, and language factors; in accordance with the changing conditions of this genre existence mentions the modifications in the sphere of mystery functioning, as well as the specificity of images and their linguistic representation presented in it, and tells that the ability of mystery to respond to social-cultural changes allows it to remain in the topical sphere of collective consciousness in any historical period.
