PRODUCTIVITY CATEGORY AND SATIVA MANNER OF ACTION IN THE MODERN GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The author researches the interconnection of the productivity category and the Sativa manner of action in modern German, analyzes the expression means and the features of these linguistic phenomena functioning, comes to the conclusion that the Sativa manner of action is rightly considered as the special case of productivity category manifestation; and among the characteristic features that allow attributing the Sativa manner of action to the productivity category emphasizes the special role of the reflexivity category in its implementation, the specificity of interaction between resultative and preceding action, the presence of specific lexical markers and also the semantic sphere of linguistic phenomena functioning.
