DIACHRONOLOGY OF RUSSIAN PROSE ABOUT WAR OF 1941-1945

Abstract. The author states the basic principles of diachronological approach to the material of narrative tradition associated with the theme of Great Patriotic War in the context of the Russian literature of the 1941-2010s, determines three main periods that correlate with the phases of this narrative tradition origin, formation and completion, and as the main line of historical-literary development considers the transition from the socialist realist canon of war epics, most fully expressed in "The Story of a Real Man" by B. Polevoi, to the neo-traditionalist paradigm of war prose (V. Grossman, "Life and Fate").
