MALE AND FEMALE DENOMINATIONS AS GENDER STEREOTYPES REPRESENTATION IN NOVEL "THE RAINBOW" BY D. H. LAWRENCE

Abstract. The article researches the features of male and female denominations in the novel "The Rainbow" by D. H. Lawrence, representing the most common gender stereotypes of Great Britain Society of the beginning of the twentieth century. For this purpose the main theme groups of gender denominations are revealed, and the features of their use in artistic discourse are analyzed.
