"SOUL" FRAME IN ASPECT OF LACUNARITY

Abstract. The Teleut language is the disappearing language of one of the Siberian smaller native peoples that is now used only in everyday life. As in the XIX th century the Teleuts replaced shamanism with Christianity many religious ideas of this people were relegated to oblivion. But some relict remained. The research is devoted to revealing the lacunas connected with the ideas about soul in the Teleuts’ long-term memory. The analysis of language material showed that paradigmatic connections complex net, which comes apart with changing people’s way of life, is realized in situations that are prototypal for ordinary consciousness.
