ON CORRELATION OF THE CATEGORIES "MORALITY" AND "RIGHTEOUSNESS"

Abstract. The article considers the correlation of the two categories: "morality" and "righteousness". These concepts are investigated in the linguoculturological aspect, materials of etymological and explanatory dictionaries and philosophical papers are involved. On the basis of the research the author makes certain conclusions resulting in the understanding of interrelation between these two conceptions: morality is associated with righteousness by means of religion.
