V. G. KOROLENKO’S EDITORIAL PRINCIPLES (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE MAGAZINE "RUSSKOYE BOGATSTVO" ("RUSSIAN WEALTH"))

Abstract. The article focuses on the activity of V. G. Korolenko as an editor. The paper investigates the role of V. G. Korolenko-editor in the creative destiny of the writers, the history of the "Russian wealth" - one of the major magazines of the end of the XVIII - beginning of the XIX century. The success of the paper is the identification of V. G. Korolenko’s editorial principles on the basis of the analyzed literature: answering each author in time with the detailed analysis of a literary work, careful attitude to the works of the young authors, high professional standards.
