ARCHITECTONICS OF THE ENGLISH TERMINOLOGICAL SYSTEM OF OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

Abstract. The article considers the practical problems of the English scientific and technical terminology. By the material of lexicographical sources the main components of the architectonics of the English terminology in oil and gas industry are revealed and their relationships are ascertained; the English oil and gas terminology is categorized and the characteristic features of the terminological categories identified in the process of analyzing are described.
