INTERACTION OF SEMANTICS AND GRAMMAR OF A RELATIVE ADJECTIVE IN THE POETICAL TEXTS

Abstract. The article examines a number of unusual usages of relative adjectives in the poetical texts by A. A. Akhmatova, B. L. Pasternak and M. Kreps. The author aims to reveal the mechanisms of unusual usage of relative adjectives associated with the interaction of grammar of an adjective and semantics of a base noun. Without setting a task to compare the individual styles of the chosen poets, the author tends to show the frequency of the investigated phenomenon.
