SYSTEMIC RELATIONS IN PHRASEOLOGY OF THE UDMURT, HUNGARIAN, RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

Egorov Aleksandr Viktorovich
Udmurt Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Abstract. The article examines systemic relations (synonymy, antonymy, polysemy, variation) in the phraseology of the Udmurt, Hungarian, Russian and English languages. Special attention is paid to phonetic, morphological, lexical and syntactical variations in phraseology. For the first time the paper presents the comparative studies of synonymic relations in the phraseology of the mentioned languages. The author concludes that antonymy in the phraseology of the investigated languages occurs even more rarely than synonymy and is often accompanied by the antonymic relations of lexical synonyms.
