STUDYING THE NEW VOCABULARY OF THE NETHERLANDIAN LANGUAGE IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract. The article is devoted to investigating the role of globalization in the development of national language, describes the positive and negative aspects of this process. The author reveals the cardinal changes which experience the Netherlandian language over the period of recent three decades in view of the active promotion of global English. The examples from Netherlandian and English languages serve as the illustrative material. The paper also analyzes the consequences of linguistic globalization and possible ways for reducing its negative influence on the development of a language.
