ASPECTUAL SEMANTICS IN THE LIGHT OF ONOMASIOLOGY: SEMANTIC CONTENT OF SPECIAL ASPECTUAL MEANINGS OF RUSSIAN VERB

Abstract. In the article the results of the research devoted to the onomasiological description of semantic content of perfective and imperfective aspects of Russian verb are presented. The semantic features which form the core of one or another special meaning of aspects are described. As a result the author reveals a number of components on which the semantic content of special aspectual meanings is based. The use of onomasiological principle in the description of special aspectual meanings favours the settlement of disagreements in qualitative and quantitative interpretation of these meanings in the Russian language.
