PECULIARITIES OF A MORAL UPBRINGING ON THE PAGES OF RELIGIOUS CALENDARS IN THE TATAR LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article presents the analysis of some distinctive peculiarities of functionality of printed religious calendars in the Tatar language as a type of a periodical. The characteristic feature of religious calendars of Islamic direction is the presence of an educational beginning. The author comes to the conclusion that calendar compilers aspire to provide a moral upbringing of the population, contributing to the performing mass media functions.
