CONDITIONS FOR ACTUALIZATION AND PRODUCTIVITY FACTORS OF WORD-FORMATION MODELS IN GERMAN COLLOQUIAL LEXICON (BY THE MATERIAL OF VERBAL UNITS WITH ADVERBIAL COMPONENTS OF SPATIAL SEMANTICS)

Abstract. The article deals with linguistic and non-linguistic factors that contribute to the productivity of word formation models of verbal units with spatial adverbial particles in modern German colloquial lexicon. Conditions for actualization of these models in the colloquial speech are reviewed by giving specific examples in relation to the laws governing the actualization of the same word-formation models in general lexicon. The author also identifies types of possible violations of intraword compatibility in the formation of colloquial verbal units with adverbial particles and analyzes the causes of these violations. Special attention is paid to violations of the lexical-semantic and conceptual compatibility, such as seme duplication and incompatibility of semantic features (intraword pleonasm, intraword oxymoron) in the meaning of components of the word-formation construction.
