COMMUNICATIVE BEHAVIOUR: RHETORICAL AND PARALINGUISTIC ASPECTS

Abstract. The article tells about the relationship between rhetorical figures and paralinguistic means. Rhetorical figures interact and correspond with the phenomena of a paralanguage. The means of a paralanguage form a kind of sub-code, the foundation of which is motivated signs. This sub-code is subjected to a particular convention. This convention forms its own standard, which is not "another standard" in terms of language, but correlates to the language standard.
