STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF THE VERBS OF THE MIDDLE STAGE OF AN ACTION

Abstract. The problem of semantic equivalence of the words is one of the most relevant problems of modern linguistics which is explained by the specifics of a research object itself, involving the complicated interaction of identity and difference, meaning and usage, conceptual and properly semantic plans of a lexical unit. The article examines the structural-semantic peculiarities of the verbs of the middle stage of an action, identifies the factors determining the preference in the choice of a certain predicative unit.
