SPECIFICS OF SPEECH OF THE DUKHANS OF THE MONGOLIAN KH?VSG?L PROVINCE

Abstract. The article examines specific features of speech of the Mongolian dukhans. The paper presents an analysis of dialectal words in the sphere of phonetics, vocabulary and morphology in comparison with the modern Tuvinian literary language. The researcher also focuses on the specific words of the reindeer breeders of the Todzhinsky and Tere-Kholsky dialects. On the basis of the linguistic data the author proves the hypothesis that the dukhans and reindeer breeders of the Tyva Republic have common roots.
