Zhdanov Sergei Sergeevich
Siberian State Academy of Geodesy

Abstract. The article considers the image of Berlin, presented in the poetry of Sasha Cherny. This image can be considered as part of the artist’s German original travelogue, which includes the poems about Germany, written both before and after emigration. Ambivalence distinguishes the space of this Berlin. The city reveals the characteristics of not only philistine locus of heroes-Germans, but also of the other world, in which the modern images of technology, industry, trade, advertising and ancient mythopoetical features of the world of death are mixed.
