ANIMALISTIC VOCABULARY AS AN EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL IN THE NATIONAL-ORIENTED PARADIGM OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. In the article the author considers the main criteria for selection of linguistic units of the lexical-semantic group "Animals" and identifies five names of animals that represent the greatest linguo-culturological value as an educational material for teaching Russian as a foreign language of Chinese students-philologists: bear, wolf, fox, dog, cat. Furthermore, it has been ascertained that the use of authentic folklore and literary animalistic texts introduces the world of Russian culture to the Chinese audience.
