METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINING PROFICIENCY LEVEL OF RUSSIAN AS FOREIGN LANGUAGE (FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF THE VII FESTIVAL OF THE RUSSIAN SPEECH OF FOREIGN STUDENTS FROM HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENTS IN RUSSIA (I LEVEL))

Abstract. The article describes the developed methodology for determining the proficiency level of Russian as a foreign language for the participants of the First level of the VII Festival of the Russian Speech of foreign students from higher education establishments in Russia. The author describes the requirements and criteria for evaluation of oral and written speech, imposed to those contestants, who study at the pre-university stage of education. By means of this methodology the level of mastering communicative-speech and language competencies of participants of the first level of the VII Festival is determined.
