SIGNS OF NON-VERBAL BEHAVIOR, RETRANSLATED BY ICONIC TEXTS, IN THEIR RELATIONS TO VERBAL COMPONENT OF POLYCODE MEDIA TEXT. PART 2

Mardieva Lyailya Ag'dasovna
Kazan Federal University

Abstract. In the article the description of two types of relations between heterogeneous elements of media text: discordant and dialogic is given, taking into account the specificity of the structural organization of a newspaper text, peculiarities of its perception in the process of reader’s plunging into the text space, and also functional-pragmatic features of iconic representations of gesture-mimic codes. It is shown that a discordant type of relations allows not only emphasizing dominant meanings, calling readers’ attention to them, but also transmitting implicit information, activating interpretative activity of reader’s awareness; and executed on the model of a dialogue "journalist’s speech - non-verbal statement of the character of iconic text" the interaction of heterogeneous semiotic parts grows into implicit polylogue "journalist’s speech - non-verbal statement of the character of iconic text - inner newspaper reader’s speech".
