DIALECT PHONETIC CORRESPONDENCE Ы~И / И~Ы IN PATOIS OF THE YAKUT LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article examines the dialect phonetic correspondence ы~и / и~ы in the patois of the Yakut language found in the stems of foreign origin. According to the author of the paper, in these variations, on the one hand, some traces of the stage development of the vocoids ы and и in languages and dialects that were in contact in former times are reflected to some extent; on the other hand, the variation of such kind is practically not met in the indigenously Yakut (Turkic) stems. This may testify for the fact that the language, which formed the basis for the Yakut one, had separated from the basic mass of the Turkic community very early, and on account of its isolated development it managed to preserve the most ancient quality of the Turkic vocalism.
Key words and phrases: фонетическое соответствие, н?бные и нен?бные варианты, древнетюркский язык, письменно-монгольский язык, переломы монг. І, фонема, вокализм, phonetic correspondence, palatine and non-palatine variants, the Old Turkic language, the written Mongolian language, changes of the Mongolian I, phoneme, vocalism
