TOBACCONYMS AND ALCONYMS IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE: SEMANTIC AND STRUCTURAL-PRAGMATIC CHARACTERISTICS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the complex description of the names of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products as a little-studied segment of onomastic space. In the work the semantic and structural-pragmatic aspects of the representation of "alconyms" and "tobacconyms" in the modern Russian language are analyzed. The author’s attention is focused on precedence phenomenon, which is typical for the major part of the analyzed pragmatic names.
