CROSS-CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN THE STRUCTURE OF GOALS OF THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING IN A NON-LINGUISTIC HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. The article deals with the role of cross-cultural competence in interconnection with the foreign language professional communicative competence in the structure of the goals of teaching students of a non-linguistic higher education establishment. The author grounds the necessity to include the intercultural aspect into the content of the foreign language teaching for professional communication as integrated professional skills which are based on general cultural and professional-marked components.
