SPECIFICS OF PERCEPTION OF THE LEXICO-SEMANTIC SUBGROUP "PAST - FUTURE" IN THE MODERNISM LYRICS (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE CREATIVE WORK BY T. S. ELIOT)

Abstract. The article analyzes the specifics of perception of the lexical units constituting one of the subgroups of the lexico-semantic field "Time". The author examines these lexical units within the lyrics of a literary trend of modernism by the material of the creative work by T. S. Eliot whose works focus on the symbiosis of past and future. The relevance of the research is conditioned by the close attention of the modern linguists to the different aspects of the lexico-semantic theory as a means for the most efficient studies of the lexical corpus.
