TRANSLATING ADDRESSES FROM THE RUSSIAN INTO THE TATAR LANGUAGE IN THE DIALOGUE OF CULTURES

Abstract. The article aims to study the specifics of translating addresses from the Tatar language into the Russian language. Literary texts and their translations from the Tatar into Russian served as the material for research. The special attention is paid to the analysis of addresses conditioned by the culturological peculiarities of the original. Relying on the findings the author concludes that discrepancy of tradition in the Tatar and Russian languages may cause difficulties while translating addresses with language colouring.
