ON CERTAIN TYPES OF CHINESE GRAPHO-MONAD ORGANIZATION IN THE IDEOGRAPHIC SIGN

Abstract. The article discusses the possibility of the minimal significant units of the Chinese language (grapho-monads) to generate a great number of Chinese characters according to the certain rules (modi). As the examples the author examines derivational chains illustrating the evolution of the Chinese characters with the monads "fire", "hand", "cow" generating the signs-derivatives. The researcher provides grammatological and structural-semantic analysis of the mentioned signs and concludes on grapho-monad derivation potential.
