STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC MOTIVATION AS A MEANS TO DEVELOP JUNIOR PUPILS’ INITIAL CONCEPTIONS OF THE WORD SEMANTICS

Abstract. The article analyzes the potentials of structural-semantic motivation as one of the means to interpret the lexical meanings of words while forming junior pupils’ initial conceptions of the word semantics. Methodical devices introduced in the paper and the linguo-methodical principles of their realization are aimed to stimulate the process of junior pupils’ conscious adoption of the lexical and semantic wealth of the Russian language.
