INTERPRETATION OF FOLKLORE TRADITIONS IN THE STORY OF THE NOGAI WRITER S. KAPAEV "KYRLUV"

Abstract. The article reveals the role of the creative work of the writer S. I. Kapaev in the development of the genre of a documentary story. The heroic deed of a fourteen-year old girl-partisan during the Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 is in the centre of the story "Kyrluv". For the first time the literary work is considered from the standpoint of continuity of epic traditions; genre and literary peculiarities of the story are traced, which have new opportunities in the examination of a documentary-literary prose in literature of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
