THE REVIEW OF CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN AND FOREIGN PARADIGM OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION (EDUCATIONAL PARADIGMS OF RUSSIA, THE USA AND FINLAND)

Abstract. The article gives the review of principal approaches and methods of teaching foreign languages, applied in the pedagogical practice of Russia, the USA and Finland. Their contribution to the change of educational paradigm is determined and the description of their distinctive features is presented. The authors substantiate the necessity of possessing contemporary domestic and foreign methods of teaching foreign languages, taking into consideration their advantages.
