LANGUAGE MEANS OF EXPRESSING THE COMIC IN HUMOROUS DISCOURSE

Abstract. The article discusses some of the theoretical foundations of the philological study of humor and satire, which have not been fully studied in the domestic linguistics. The author attempts to distinguish between these notions by the example of the language peculiarities of the writers of the XIX-XX centuries. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the identification of the use of language means with the help of which humor extends the limits of its application. The main attention is paid to the analysis of language means which create individual authors’ texts of the occasional nature through the use of various techniques of comic in the space of the text.
