ON THE ISSUE OF ANGLICISMS: LEXICAL-SEMANTIC ASPECT

Abstract. The article discusses some Anglicisms in the Russian language which were borrowed in the period of globalization. The paper reveals their meaning in comparison with the source-language, identifies the derivational possibilities of lexemes, describes the spheres of their most frequent use and functions, in particular they are used as terms or names of the new notions for the Russian society.
