PHENOMENON OF METAPHOR IN A LITERARY TEXT: PROBLEMS OF REVEALING CONCEPTUAL-DISCURSIVE MEANING

Shishkina Tat'yana Semenovna
Southern Federal University

Abstract. The article defines a metaphor as a figurative expression, in the framework of which a separate word form or a combination of word forms are shifted in their usual use in the context of acquiring a new conceptual-discursive meaning. Such meaning is determined not by language or logic, but is the result of a unique experiment of a creative personality. That inevitably entails conceptual inconsistency, characterized by the fact that the inner essence of one object is revealed in terms of immanent features of another object.
Key words and phrases: метафора, художественный текст, концептуально-дискурсивный смысл, несовместимость, контекст, феноменология двойственности, metaphor, literary text, conceptual-discursive meaning, inconsistency, context, phenomenology of duality
