NUANCES OF ACTUALIZING THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF ACCENTUATION SIGNALS IN HUMOROUS PROSE (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ENGLISH TEXTS BY G. CARLIN, L. C. KEY, D. MORAN AND E. DEGENERES)

Abstract. The article introduces the classification of accentuation signals actualized in humorous texts. Textual accentuators are distributed according to semantic zones: zone of intensity, zone of exclusiveness, zone of contrast, negation, etc. Humorous texts are full of adverbs and adjectives with the semantics of intensification. Humorists whose speech habits were formed under unfavourable conditions more eagerly choose accentuation signals to optimally influence the audience.
