WORD-FORMATIVE CLUSTERS OF NATURAL SOMATISMS IN THE ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article analyzes word-formative clusters of natural somatisms " голова/head", "глаз/eye", "ухо/ear", "рот/mouth", shows their structural-semantic similarities and differences. The authors identify the groups of botanical and zoological terms in the word-formative clusters "head", "eye" and derivatives with negative meaning in the word-formative clusters " голова/head", "глаз/eye", "ухо/ear", рот/mouth".
