FORMATION OF POLYCULTURAL SENSITIVITY AND MULTILINGUALISM IN THE ORENBURG REGION

Abstract. The article deals with the tendency of the development of polycultural sensitivity and multilingualism in the Orenburg region. The author gives definitions of polycultural sensitivity and multilingualism, and presents the main vectors of research work on the stated problems. The positive experience of Kazakhstan in the issues of polylingual personality formation is noted. The language policy in the Orenburg region is analyzed. The results of questionnaire of students, which allows identifying the opinions of the respondents on the issues of formation of polycultural sensitivity and multilingualism in the Orenburg region, are described.
