THE PECULIARITIES OF CONTEMPORARY INTERPRETATION OF THE THEORY OF PARTS OF SPEECH (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ENGLISH AND CHINESE LANGUAGES)

Abstract. The article considers the peculiarities of understanding of parts of speech within the framework of the contemporary data obtained in the study of conversion homonymy, as well as the interpretation of new theories, and compares the phenomena of the transition of parts of speech in the English and Chinese languages. The author analyzes various approaches to the definition of parts of speech and their applicability in the study of conversion homonymy.
