ON THE ROLE OF LINGUISTIC INTUITION IN THE FORMATION OF LEXICAL SKILLS WHEN STUDYING THE CHINESE LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article examines the possibility to study the Chinese vocabulary relying on intuitive cognition. The paper characterizes rational and logical cognition applicable to structured and systematized phenomena and linguistic facts of the Chinese language, basically of grammatical level, in comparison with intuitive cognition of the Chinese vocabulary as semantic system structured according to other principles. The authors emphasize the special nature of lexical knowledge and skills, illustrate the possibility to form them through intuitive understanding using semantic information provided by explanatory dictionary of the modern Chinese language, a source of semantic data of lexical units authentic with linguistic consciousness of its bearers.
